South Fork is looking for experienced full-time and part-time Line Cooks to join our team of culinary creators. As a Line Cook you will perform a variety of restaurant/kitchen related tasks including food preparation, product stocking and rotation, food prep, and basic cleaning duties.

• $20-24 per hour (DOE) + tips.

The Deets (what you'll be expected to do in the job)

• Responsible for the quality, food safety and sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.
  
• Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information.
  
• Prepares food for service using knives, ovens, gas stoves, broiler, griddles.
  
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of Line Cook experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
  
• Experience with cooking food to preferred specifications.
  
• Current food safety knowledge and valid Food Handler Card at time of hire.
  
• Ability to hustle without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
  
• Physical requirements - must be able to stand and move around a kitchen for up to 8 hours; lift and carry up to 50lbs
