Peoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with a local plastics company located in Saint Louis, Michigan and is in search of machine operators to work various shifts.
Qualifications:
- Checks mold setup and quality procedures thoroughly to confirm production specifications are being met.
- Ensures use of correct raw materials for production runs
- Operates scale and weighs raw materials, ensuring that correct amounts are used
- Cleans, inspects, and checks accuracy of scales daily
- Assists machine operators in all aspects of molding process to produce parts within specifications
- Removes finished parts from molds, safeguarding the integrity of the completed part
- Performs visual inspection of each finished component
- Controls scrap and waste to the best of his/her ability
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with coworkers
- Possess or acquire the ability to use a variety of powered tools and other equipment used in the production process.
- Ability to use a router
Responsibilities:
- Must be capable of safely lifting a minimum of 50lbs without assistance
- Involves standing, bending, lifting, and twisting
- Attention to quality, accuracy, and attendance
Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
