Position Summary: The Senior Quality Control Inspector is responsible for examining products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards in firearms manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials and finished products, verifying specifications through visual and measurement tests.
• Approve or reject materials based on inspection results, documenting findings accurately.
• Develop and maintain quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) for firearms quality control programs.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
• Notify supervisors and stakeholders of any quality issues or deviations from standards.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Cross-train team members in quality control and production processes as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in firearms manufacturing or a related industry.
• Advanced understanding of firearms quality control programs and regulations.
• Experience in writing quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and documentation proficiency.
• Demonstrated hand-eye coordination and reporting skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Senior Quality Control Inspectors must be capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy machinery for inspection purposes. The role may involve exposure to a manufacturing environment and require adherence to safety protocols.
