Job Opportunity: Automation Engineer

Currently, we are seeking a talented and self-motivated Automation Engineer to join our team. If you have a strong electrical engineering background with a focus on process control/automation design and development, coupled with hands-on experience, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation solutions for process control in an industrial food processing environment.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams and contribute to project coordination and full-cycle project management.
- Troubleshoot and configure electronic control systems, including Allen Bradley PLC’s, HMI’s, Variable Frequency Drives, and related communication interfaces.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting of process controls, components, and electrical devices using test equipment and automated machine systems.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
- Ensure the efficient operation of production and packing lines on a daily basis.
Essential Skills:
- Comprehensive technical background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and configuring electronic control systems.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC’s, HMI’s, Variable Frequency Drives, and related communication interfaces.
- Ability to troubleshoot process controls, components, and electrical devices using test equipment and automated machine systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards/codes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- 5 or more years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment.
