The Technical Communications Manager/Technical Solution Architect - Documentation Specialist can be based from a home office anywhere in the US or at our beautiful headquarters in Honolulu, Hawaii.

This position is a contracting or full-time permanent position.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

1. Technical Proposal Writing: Develop and refine technical content for proposals, ensuring alignment with enterprise and public sector client requirements in an IT consulting environment.
2. Technical Documentation Development: Produce, revise, and sustain a diverse range of technical documentation. This encompasses but is not limited to user manuals, help content, system documentation, knowledge base articles, design specifications, product marketing presentations, white papers, and promotional materials.
3. Audience-Focused Writing: Craft and adapt documentation to cater to a broad spectrum of users, possessing varying levels of technical expertise.
4. Standards Adherence and Detail Orientation: Utilize exceptional writing skills and meticulous attention to detail to conform to and uphold DataHouse and client-specific documentation standards, as well as marketing norms.
5. Project Engagement: Actively participate in project demonstrations and meetings to grasp technical nuances and stay updated on functional advancements.
6. Complex Information Simplification: Expertly translate intricate data into accessible, user-friendly content, effectively clarifying complex concepts.
7. Collaborative Involvement: Engage closely with Project Managers, Sales Managers, Executive team, and service teams to achieve set objectives and meet expectations.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is preferred. A minimum of 4 years in technical writing/proposal writing or a related field is required.
• Writing and Proofreading Excellence: Demonstrated proficiency in writing and proofreading.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
• IT consulting: Has deep technical understanding and the ability to communicate complex IT solutions effectively.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
• IT Knowledge: Sound understanding of IT consulting, products, and services.
• Industry Expertise: Solid grounding in Business Consulting, Software, Cloud Computing, PaaS, SaaS, and other Enterprise-level IT solutions. Prior experience in these areas is highly desirable.
• Communication Skills: Robust written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for supporting team preparations for client meetings and presentations.
• Government consulting and government proposal writing experience is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: A keen interest in contributing to a consulting firm experiencing rapid growth.
