Yarbrough and Sons Heat and Air is currently hiring for a full-time HVAC Installation Helper to assist our technicians with HVAC/R and ductwork jobs in the Blanchard, OK area. This entry-level HVAC apprentice installer position earns a competitive wage of $16 - $18/hour.

DAY-TO-DAY

As an entry-level HVAC apprentice installer, you assist our experienced HVAC installers with ductwork and fabrication as well as verification of all installed equipment. You pull equipment and materials as needed as well as pick up parts from supply houses or the office to deliver to technicians in the field. Assisting with maintenance and repair work, you identify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvements. You also interact with clients and ensure they have a great experience with us. To guarantee customer satisfaction, you ensure that our salesperson or supervisor sign off upon completed work. You also answer questions and provide training to clients as requested. Some of your other duties include cleaning equipment, tidying your work area, maintaining company vehicles, and completing paperwork. You enjoy learning new skills, helping others, and seeing the results of your hard work!

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN HVAC INSTALLATION HELPER

• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with balancing ductwork systems
• Knowledge about principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
• Ability to pass a background check and a drug test upon hire
• Ability to work after hours, occasional weekends, and on select public holidays
