Executive Chef: The Post Restaurant in Estes Park is looking for a talented, passionate, outstanding Chef to take over an exceptionally designed kitchen on the grounds of the Historic Stanley Hotel. The Post seeks a professional Chef with the experience and chops to handle a high level, high volume kitchen and the desire to live and play in an exciting mountain town that is the popular and growing town of Estes Park, Colorado. This position demands expertise in managing large-scale banquets, catering events, food and labor cost, but most importantly, the desire and passion to work in and crush a bustling full-service restaurant operation.

We are seeking a talented Chef who is not afraid of volume, wants to be a part of a dynamic team, likes to have fun and work hard with others who also enjoy hard work. If you have your head in check, don't play games and want a company you can join and be with for a while, this may be your day. What we expect:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a food preparation supervisory position; hotel, catering, banquet experience preferred
  • Must have experience leading in a high-volume seasonal environment - success in every financial period - define and achieve it
  • Enhanced finance skills with an understanding of weekly budgets, P&Ls, costed menus and schedules
  • Be nimble with technology - employ new tools to improve accuracy/efficiency; POS and KDS, Accounting/Invoicing Software, Scheduling Software, Google Suite, Special Event/Catering Software, and Electronic Order Entry
Physical Demands:


  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
  • Ability to travel, manage and execute all offsite catering events
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift products and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • This location requires frequent trips up and down stairs.
  • Must have the stamina to work at least 50 to 60 hours per week.
  • Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Have the passion, drive and vision to take this restaurant to a level it has never seen.
