Estate Planning Attorney

The right applicant will possess strong experience in preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, directives, and other related documents. A fantastic candidate will also have knowledge in one or more of our other practice regions: probate, guardianship, Medicaid planning, and special needs planning. Compensation :$115,000 - $135,000 yearly (depending on experience) - bonues available

$115,000 - $135,000 yearly depending on experience

• Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives for healthcare
• Conduct effective consultations with potential clients
• Interface with clients providing excellent customer service
• Identify legal issues related to Medicaid and Special Needs Planning (training will be provided)
• Research and analyze the law on complex issues
• Develop proficiency in other areas of elder law

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed with the State Bar of Georgia
• Minimum of five years of estate planning experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and technical aptitude for learning other software programs such as practice management software
• Knowledge of document drafting software (Experience with WealthCounsel and ElderCounsel is a plus)
• Ability to show empathy to clients and put them at ease
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to become proficient in the firm’s other areas of practice
