We are currently expanding our team and seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Leasing Agent to contribute to our growth and success.
Position Overview: As a Leasing Agent, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for showcasing our properties to prospective tenants, facilitating the leasing process, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities:
Conduct property tours and effectively communicate features and benefits to potential tenants.
Record and update details of prospective tenants in the computer database.
Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments.
Process lease applications, follow up with applicants, and inform them of application results.
Advertise available properties through various channels and marketing initiatives.
Screen prospective tenants to ensure eligibility requirements are met.
Collect and record security deposits and applicable fees.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date availability reports.
Orient new tenants to the property, ensuring a smooth move-in process.
Address and resolve tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy goals.
Stay informed about market conditions and competitors.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
Proven experience in a customer service-related role.
Knowledge of general property management and leasing practices.
Familiarity with leasing software is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
