FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Financial Accountant

Location: Florence, AL

Duties Include but not limited to:

1. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
2. Process Grant Reimbursement Requests and prepare Grant Budgets
3. Process Payroll
4. Prepare for Audit, Monitor General Ledger

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Attributes Required

• Knowledge of and sensitivity to domestic violence issues
• Ability to keep client information secure and confidential
• Ability to keep personnel information secure and confidential
• Ability and willingness to take direction from supervisor
• Ability to work as a team member and also independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office, database systems, Windows Operating Systems, MIP accounting software with accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 2+ years in broad based accounting
• Non-profit accounting experience preferred
• Reliable vehicle, proof of insurance and valid driver’s license
• Physically capable of doing general office work

Shift: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
