PREP ROOM TECHNICIAN

Monday – Friday

6:30 am - 4:30 pm must be available to work overtime.

$15.00 per hour, DOE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensure accuracy of raw materials as listed on prep formulas.
Ensure that allergens and non allergens are measured separately.
Label all raw ingredients to include partials.
Document all spoilage and notify QA
Practice safe usage of all equipment.
Work safely while lifting and operating equipment
Perform duties while understanding and observing company policies on food safety, product quality and Good Manufacturing Practices
Maintain the cleanliness of the Prep Room and Holding Room

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to frequent lift of up to 50 pounds daily.
Ability to perform basic reading and math computations needed for the accuracy of measuring raw materials
Operating knowledge of pallet jack, immersion blender, pneumatic can opener, slurry tank and meat grinder
Must have good listening and communication skills
Must be able to work well with others as a team member
Basic literacy and basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment
