CNC Machinist

JOB TYPE: Full-time

COMP: $21/hr. - $24/hr.

SHIFT: 1st, 6am-2:30pm

Job Title: CNC Machinist (Haas Experience)

NCW is currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with expertise in Haas machinery (presses, laser, tools). As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to operate Haas equipment will directly impact the quality of our client’s products.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Haas CNC machines, including lathes and mills.

• Ensure precise alignment and calibration for optimal performance.

• Monitor production runs and make necessary adjustments.

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.

• Translate specifications into machine instructions.

• Troubleshoot any programming issues.

• Conduct thorough inspections of finished parts.

• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.

• Maintain strict adherence to quality standards.

• Manage tool inventory and ensure proper tool selection.

• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

• Collaborate with the team to optimize tool usage.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement.

• Work efficiently to meet production targets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years as a CNC Machinist, specifically with Haas machinery (presses, laser, tools).

• Proficiency in operating Haas lathes and mills.

• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.

• Familiarity with G-code programming.

• Attention to Detail: Precision is essential in our work, and we value meticulous individuals.
