Job Description/Summary
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for provides receptionist support for Substance Use Services; Ensures that all of Preferred Behavioral Health’s applicable resources are mobilized to make sure all authorizations are obtained, entered and documentation completed timely.
Responsibilities
• Exhibits a trauma informed approach to customer service, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and confidentiality.
• Submits purchase orders for general office supplies and maintains inventory of all office supplies for the department, as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor or Director
• Schedules intake appointments and confirms appointments one day in advance.
• Documents all client interactions in the Call Log or Memo to Chart and notifies applicable staff
• Collect drug screens in adherence to policy and document in electronic record
Required Competencies
Competencies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must display a professional appearance and proper telephone etiquette.
Qualifications
- Education - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- License - Valid driver’s license
- Experience - Some previous medical office or related healthcare administrative experience preferred.
