LF Staffing in Vero Beach is immediately looking to hire experienced MEDICAL ASSISTANTS for immediate work in the area.

• Position: Medical Assistant

• Pay: Depends On Experience
• Bilingual in Spanish/English; Is a plus!
• Location: Vero Beach, FL
• Start Date: ASAP
• Days: Monday – Friday

Job Summary: Will be performing typical duties of a Medical Assistant which may include but are not limited to:

• Taking patient vital signs, medical history, symptoms, etc.
• Documenting patient information in patient's chart / file.
• Preparing patients for examination.
• Assisting with physical examinations.
• Cleaning / sterilizing rooms and medical equipment, etc.
• Sending prescriptions / scripts to pharmacies.
• Sample collection / processing.
• Explaining procedures to patients.
• Communicating with patients, doctors, pharmacies, vendors, guests, etc.
• Utilizing the computer for various tasks including emailing, charting, ordering, etc.
• Performing a variety of office / clerical related duties.
• Various other related tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Previous Medical Assisting experience for a minimum of 1 year.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish & English is not required but is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Additional requirements and/or screening may apply.
