Diesel Mechanic

ADC Concrete is now hiring a diesel mechanic to make repairs to dump trucks and semis at our Greenville OH and Dayton OH locations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Use power tools and specialized equipment to assemble, disassemble, and repair diesel engines.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

Preferable hire to also have a CDL class A or B to drive a dump truck as needed and to test drive dump trucks and semis for repairs.
