COUNTER SALES & WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

This position requires a professional to be responsible for assisting customers at a very fast paced counter with identifying hoses and fittings. This person will fabricate new hoses per the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines. This position will also process, pack and ship orders accurately, organize stock and maintain inventory using cycle counting reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make hose assemblies for hydraulic, industrial, chemical, air, etc. applications.
• Interacts with customers in person and by phone, assisting with purchases.
• Organize stock items and maintains inventory levels.
• Assists others with unpacking, checking and placing inventory in the correct warehouse locations.
• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Excellent problem solving, organizational and attention to detail skills.
• A positive attitude to create a friendly and productive work environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment (training available).
• Ability to contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehouse and counter procedures.

Physical Requirement:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hydraulic experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
