JOB DESCRIPITION: We are looking for an energetic person who would love to support the food and beverage department in The Med. We are looking to bring on someone who shares our passion for hospitality and creating exceptional and memorable experiences. Ideal candidates are highly motivated and effective at working in a fast-paced team environment. In addition, shares our passion for hospitality and creating exceptional and memorable experiences. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Greet/and or seat all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
• Ensure guests receive any items requested or needed to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Ensures that refills water, serves bread and restocks glassware and plates.
• Removes plates and silverware when all guests have finished.
• Ask all guests how their stay was the night before and resolve any complaints on the spot.
• Prepare food and beverages for service to hotel guests and present food according to established health and presentation standards.
• Perform side-work, and any other opening or closing duties are required.
• Ensure that wait staff stations are cleaned and maintained throughout shift.
• Notify supervisor of supplies that are needed.
• Ensure the environment (i.e., lighting, music, settings, etc.) are appropriate to a successful meal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate
• Must have a valid Responsible Beverage Server Certificate

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to frequently stand up or move with and outside of the hotel facility
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk and move about the facility for extensive period of times, bending, stooping and kneeling

JOB TYPE: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.85 per hr
