We provide high quality care to seniors in private homes as well as supplement care in facilities and adult family homes. One of our goals is to assist our clients and their families with a total personal care system. We provide light housekeeping, transportation and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). We feel that providing quality care of the living environment is just as important as the quality personal care that we provide.

A quality applicant will possess a desire to serve, be able to pass a background investigation with fingerprinting, have a driver’s license, vehicle with insurance and a Washington State Home Care Aide (HCA) license or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license OR the ability to obtain one within 200 days of hire. Visiting Angels is a drug free work place.

The State of Washington requires that long-term care workers or caregivers be licensed with an HCA or CNA. If you don’t have that, no problem, we can help! The HCA is a 75 hour training course followed by a state written and skills exam; check out the Department of Health for HCA training requirements here. Visiting Angels offers a Work-to-Train program to our employees that allows for them to get an HCA license without facing all of the upfront cost. Visiting Angels will front the cost of the training course, state application and testing fees (click for the fee list and amounts) on your behalf. This cost is then paid back through a payroll deduction in small, manageable amounts. If you pay off the Work to Train and are in good standing with Visiting Angels, we will give you the cost of the class back, a $450 value!
