Holladay Park Plaza and Mirabella Portland are excited to offer a paid Nursing Assistant 1 education opportunity to candidates seeking to work as part of our health services team! Earn an hourly wage while you learn! Successful graduates will be eligible to take the certification exam through the Oregon State Board of Nursing and work as a nursing assistant.
Nursing Assistant Student Pay: Starting at $17.50 / hour DOE
Location: Classrom and Lab are at Holladay Park Plaza. 3 days of Clinicals will be at Mirabella Portland
Schedule:
- Orientation May 24 10am-2pm
- Class Schedule: May 28-June 13 Tues-Friday 9am-5pm
- Clinicals June 14-June 25: Tue-Friday 7am-3:30am & 6:30am-3pm
- Skills Day/Practice & Graduation:June 27-June 28 9am-4:30pm
- Certification Test: Sun June 30, 2024 8am-3pm

About you:
- No Prior Caregiver or Healthcare experience required
- Qualified applicants must have the ability to successfully pass criminal history check if they are a current employee and must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Ability to read and write at a 6th grade English level
About the Class
- Instructor led, State Board of Nursing Approved curriculum
- Lab skills practice
- Clinical practice
- Preparation for the State Certification Exam
- Currently, the state certification exam is only offered in English.
- No Class Fees for NA students
