We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Corrdinator to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Purchases supplies, materials, parts, etc. for the company.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Oversee and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service operations.

  • Update price lists for any annual changes and/if parts or prices increase.

  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and vendors.

  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.

  • Quality check all shipments prior to leaving the warehouse.

  • Monitor and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Implement new technologies and stay informed on the latest supply chain trends and best practices.

  • Maintain the Chicago facilities.

  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and other partners in the supply chain.

  • Performs audits of receiving and purchasing systems. 

  • Lead and manage supply chain staff, setting goals and evaluating performance.

  • Forecast demand and inventory levels to manage procurement and production schedules.

  • Audit and approve all logistics bills, address any internal mistakes, and dispute any discrepancies

  • Troubleshoot problems that occur within the supply chain, including delays or quality deficiencies.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain processes with company objectives.

  • Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.

  • Develops and maintains inventory databases for supplies and materials used in QuickBooks.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 



Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field

  • Minimum of 3  years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics

  • Proven experience in supply chain optimization and strategic sourcing

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including inventory management, demand planning, and logistics

  • Proficiency with supply chain management software (e.g., CRM, Quickbooks)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and external partners

  • Experience in supplier relationship management and performance measurement

  • Familiarity with relevant legal requirements, safety standards, and sustainable practices

  • Project management experience with a track record of delivering successful projects

  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics using business intelligence tools

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

 



Compensation details: 55000-65000 Yearly Salary
