Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Indiana licensed CRNAs available for full-time locum tenens coverage in LaGrange, IN beginning as soon as possible.

Opportunity Specifics:

• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Hours: (6:30am – 3:00pm) Call Hours: (3:00pm – 6:30am)
• Rotatio: 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off
• Non-Supervised Practice
• On Call: call every other night and the weekend between the two weeks for OR only, not OB call or patients

About the Facility:

• Day Shift Providers: 2
• Cases: ENDO, OB, PEDS, URO, Trauma, Ophthalmology, General, GYN, ORTHO
• EMR: EPIC

Job Description:

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring patient’s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
• Experience/proficiency in: Epidurals, Spinals & Blocks

Candidate Requirements:

• Active Indiana State License
• Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Clear personal & professional background
