Opportunity Specifics:

• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Multispecialty Surgery Center
  • 7 OR's, 2 Procedure Rooms
• Practice: Medically Supervised
  • 2-3 MD's & 8-10 CRNAs on-site
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:00pm)
• No Call Requirements
• EMR: Paper Charting

Cases:

• General, Ortho, plastics, ENT, GI, GYN, Eyes, PEDS

Job Description:

• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Candidate Requirements:

• Active Florida State License
• Graduate of an accredited program
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS
