Job Summary

The Electronic Assembler will conduct repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce a high quantity of product/system assemblies without sacrificing quality. This position will extensively work with small objects, clamps and hand tools, requiring superior dexterity abilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate work orders and/or verbal instructions to gather needed tools, equipment and pieces to complete the task at hand
• Carefully read and follow productions drawings and sample assemblies to ensure accurate craftsmanship
• Operate tools relating to crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits or other objects to securing parts are in tack
• Mount assembled components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and socket on chassis panel
• Connect component lead wires to printed circuit or routes
• Connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets
• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure production standards

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed directions
• Outstanding dexterity abilities
• Basic knowledge of common hand tools and fasteners
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure
• Task and Team Oriented
