We are a mid-size law firm with 35 employees. Our current IT staff consists of one wonderful employee who has been with the firm for 35 years. We are looking for someone to work with her until she retires and then take over as our main IT resource. We have a lot of exciting projects in the works including implementing the Laserfiche enterprise management solution, automating our workflows, transitioning our document generation and maintaining/improving our custom build .NET application and SQL databases.
Detailed Description:
This individual will be responsible for maintaining the firms complex web application utilizing ASP.NET/C#, SQL Server and Visual Studio. They will be required to collaborate with the third party vendor to understand the web application, discuss and implement solutions. They will maintain Hotdocs report and/or create new reports for the web application. Run queries in SQL Server to address ad-hoc needs for the staff members by creating reports. Maintain and support the existing network infrastructure, support existing windows domain and conduct Mail Merges.
They will also be leading a project to update the technology in the firm. Familiarity with enterprise management software is preferred.
Desired Skills and Experience
Associate or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Data or equivalent
2-3 years developing ASP.NET applications
Well versed in JavaScript
Good experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Good Experience with Visual Studio
Proficiency with HTML
Good communication and collaborative skills
