The Installation & Collections Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the completion and close out of an installation occurs. This position will contact customers and coordinate any final items that need to be completed to put the job in the position to close it out and collect payment. The ideal candidate would possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as quick problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Communicating with customer’s the status of their installation project upon completion via phone, text or email.
  • Inform customer of additional work needed.
  • Create a scope of work for any additional work needed.
  • Enter notes into a customer system-based profile as needed.
  • Problem solves and manage installer and customer concerns when issues arise during the close out process.
  • Manage escalation calls when complex customer issues arise.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to support and resolve customer issues.
  • Ensure the installation job is substantially completed to the customer’s satisfaction and collected before closing out the job.
  • Facilitate the collection of final payment.

What We Need:

  • High-School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of (3) three years of professional administrative work experience
  • Minimum of (3) three years of customer service experience
  • Basic math skills, must have the ability to calculate job costs
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills; must be able to clearly communicate process expectations to customers
  • Excellent customer service skills; must be able to maintain professionalism and handle irate customers skillfully and tactfully
  • Great organizational skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Problem solving abilities; must have the ability to use sound judgement to resolve issues and make suggestions on how to solve a problem

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain sitting in a stationary position for prolonged periods
  • Requires the ability to move about inside the office
  • Must be able to move items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, vendors, and the public
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

Hours/Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year. Standard hours may vary, but typical shifts may be M – F, 8:00 – 5:00, 9:00 – 6:00 or 10:00 – 7:00. However, due to cyclical nature of position, some overtime, including evening and weekend hours, may be required to complete projects under deadlines.
