Field Lab/sampling Technician

Hiring a Field Lab/Sampling Technician for a great environmental lab in Chico, CA!! MUST HAVE experience with taking water and soil samples to apply. Associates degree in Science or previous environmental experience is a plus. Great culture and environment!!

M-F day shift

Description:

• Sampling/picking up environmental samples of drinking water, waste water, and surface water plus sampling/picking up agricultural samples of soil, plant tissue, and irrigation waters.
• The person in this position may be cross-trained in the other areas of operation including sample receiving, shipping, customer service, and bacteriological analysis
• The position will start side by side, route training in our company vehicle to learn the daily responsibilities and experience customer service and experience with our customers.

Looking for:

• The ideal applicant will be eager to learn, posses great attention to detail while thinking critically, have the ability to multi-task and can work independently in a team setting.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Okay with working outdoors
• Self-motivated and disciplined
• Can perform physical activities and lift up to 50 lbs.
