We are looking for a Controller in our Murray, UT location. This position will report to Corporate Controller.


This position will help in the preparation of the Company's financial reporting to management. This includes monthly financial reports and reconciliations. This position will be a hands-on strategic partner in driving the successful growth of the company and will play an important part in expanding margins, growing revenue, and maximizing team-member value. This job centers on developing and implementing controls and procedures that extend across a geographically dispersed organization that is growing rapidly organically and through acquisition.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct the workload of the accounting department.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports in compliance with GAAP.
  • Record various journal entries and maintain reconciliations.
  • Evaluate and revise as necessary controls and procedures to drive the integrity of financial statements.
  • Organize revenue and COGS data for percentage of completion revenue accounting.
  • Gather information and report on monthly sales commissions.
  • Analyze weekly cash reports and participate in cash flow processes.
  • Complete insurance requirements and request insurance bonds for the company.
  • Lead in accurate and timely reporting of inventory levels.
  • Participate in annual audit requirements.
  • Partner in developing a strong Controlling organization.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to direct and respond to concerns within the department
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel Skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or work comparable experience.
  • 5+ years of work-related experience
  • Experience with manufacturing operations preferred
  • Understanding of branch locations preferred
  • Private equity ownership and acquisitions experience a plus

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
