Night Shift- Guest Services - Now Hiring

Summary:

Road America is seeking an individual with a passion for racing to be part of the Guest Services/Security team.

The Guest Services/Security position is responsible for ensuring safety in several different areas and conducting routine patrols. The Guest Services/Security assumes a proactive role in keeping the facility safe. This is a part-time seasonal worker position from April – October.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

As part of the Security team, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and positive manner. Provide information and guidance to Road America guests and ensure the safety of our employees and customers by enforcing the rules of Road America. You will patrol the facility to prevent and detect security concerns. You will monitor the entrance and departure of employees and guests. You will provide excellent customer service to guests by fielding inquiries and maintaining a friendly, safe environment.

Qualifications:

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, must have the ability to multitask, advanced people skills, the ability to diffuse situations, and the ability to assist with crowd control. Flexible scheduling is needed as shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands to operate equipment. The employee is subject to the outside environment conditions such as cold weather or extreme heat. Also, you are subjected to noise and fast-moving objects. You must have the ability to lift at least 25 lbs. occasionally.

Hours:

Shifts are 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (or until closing – typically by 7:00 p.m.) for day shifts, and 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. for evening/night shifts. Shifts are often split into 6-hour sections for more flexibility if needed.
