Social Worker

Will be providing social work services in our Inpatient Palliative Care.

Social Worker Job Summary:

• Responsible for provision of social work services to include explanation of services, crisis intervention, resource referral and emotional support and/or counseling to patients and families as needed.
• Ability to work in coordination with other disciplines at part of team to address chronic illness and end-of-life needs.

Social Worker Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Social Work, NC LCSW, OR LCSW Provisional license required.
• At least 1 year experience in social work and knowledge of end-of-life issues preferred.

Reliable transportation and valid NC Drivers license required.
