Job Description

REPORTS TO: Director of Service

Location: Florida

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The primary focus will be to strengthen the KSB and GIW product brand awareness, and to position KSB SupremeServ by GIW Industries as the premiere rotating equipment Service provider across the Southeast region of the US. Collaborate with management to develop the strategic Sales plan and drive its implementation that assures delivery of the targeted profitable sales growth. Travel ~60% of time.

Collaborate with management to develop the strategic Sales plan and drive its implementation that assures delivery of the targeted profitable sales growth. Travel ~60% of time.



1. Call on customers within the assigned geographical area to increase awareness of KSB SupremeServ by GIW Industries Service capabilities, including service agreements, and promote acceptance of the company's products and services.

2. Strategic engagement with end users of KSB & GIW installed base of products. Develop relationships that promote brand retention throughout the product lifecycle.

3. Promote the image of the Company along with the value of its products and services that differentiate them from the competition.

4. Expand partnership relationships and grow our share of wallet with existing customers while proactively seeking new customers and opportunities.

5. Proven experience and success in sales of products and services directly to end users within the mining, power, industrial, and water markets including boiler feed, centrifugal, and vertical turbine pumps, along with other rotating equipment.

6. Strong knowledge of pumps, pump hydraulics, pump systems, gear reducers, and other rotating equipment, and all aspects of operation, installation and maintenance.

7. Ability to work with detailed specifications and industry standards.

8. Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing with customers on a project-by-project basis, in accordance with Company guidelines.

· 9. Develop and maintain a planned call schedule to ensure adequate customer interface.

10. Assist the team with developing appropriate strategies, goals, tactics, etc. for the benefit of the region and KSB, including sales forecasts for existing and new customers.

11. Responsible for selection of equipment without written specifications and submitting sales forecasts supported by market trends, competition, etc., and provides follow-up information on quoted jobs as outlined by Management.

12. Perform troubleshooting and emergency call outs as may be required; assists with equipment start up and training as may be necessary.

13. Perform all work in compliance with company policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and direction and identify non-compliance situations for resolution.

14. Comply with all health and safety initiatives to ensure the Company remains a safe workplace.

15. Ability to manage multiple, divergent priorities, and work independently with a high degree of accuracy to meet customer requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

16. Ability to foster collaboration, accountability, and customer centricity.

17. Superior telephone skills and strong written and verbal English language communication skills to receive and give information and make presentations.

18. Strong customer service focus, sense of urgency to meet or exceed customer expectations, and achieve daily commitments.

19. Ability to present a positive, competent image to customers, problem solve and apply sound judgment and discretion.

20. Highly organized and focused on meeting goals and objectives, manage multiple priorities, and capable of working within digital CRM program.

21. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering, or other technical degree preferred; or an appropriate combination of training, education and experience. Five – Seven years of sales/engineering experience in a Service business environment is strongly preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Strong Mechanical and Technical aptitude in rotating equipment.

• Understanding of basic pump application and selection.

• Experience with and working knowledge of pumps, gear reducers, and other rotating equipment is strongly preferred for this position.

• Knowledge of mining, power, industrial, and water markets and applications. Background of pumps/flow control products.

• Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills; able to work in a team environment.
