Job Description

· Lead the ideation process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define innovative product concepts.

· Design, develop, and test product prototypes, focusing on innovation and usability.

· Oversee the transition from prototype to high volume manufacturing, ensuring the innovative aspects are retained.

· Work with Marketing to conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs for future product development.

· Continuously monitor advancements in technology to identify opportunities for product innovation. Oversee and manage the development of new building products and services to improve the sales and profitability of Evermark.

· Manage and facilitate the activities of Innovation teams.

· Develop and recommend budgets for product and service innovation development.

· Create routine reports and presentations to present and communicate the status, progress, and results of innovation to the Leadership Team.

· Develop and manage a process to identify unmet needs within the building products market.

· Work with Sales/Marketing to determine customer persona, target market size, competitive landscape, target pricing, etc.

· Work with Sourcing to determine viable sources and delivered COGS for outsourced products.

· Develop and manage a process to screen, review and analyze newly filed patent applications and newly granted patents that represent innovative building products for licensing.
