 SUMMARY
Stage, load, and unload finished product and raw materials. Stock and maintain plant inventory.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
2. Stage finished product for loading.
3. Load finished product onto truck.
4. Unload raw materials from truck.
5. Move raw materials to warehouse storage.
6. Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
7. Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material

           is accepted in.

1. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
2. Operate forklift and/or trucks. (If Certified)
3. Complete daily logs.
4. Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift, truck, and/or railcar.
5. Communicate with operators from other shifts.
6. Clean and maintain work area.
7. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
8. Willing to work overtime both daily and weekends.
9. Maintain a cooperative positive attitude to accomplish work goals of the job and work group.
10. Maintains good attendance and punctuality
11. Ensure safety of self and other though proper use of PPE and care of equipment/work site.
12. Keep work site organized, neat and clear of potential hazards, handles and operates

           equipment in careful/safe manner, keeps tools and equipment in working order and store
           properly.

2. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist mechanics and machinists in repair work.
2. Perform back-up for assemblers.

JOB LOCATION: Merced, CA.
PAY RATE: $18 per hour
WORK HOURS: Monday through Thursday - 7am to 5pm & Friday - 7am to 4pm
