Work Location: Canton, OH

Division/Department: Meals on Wheels

Reports to: Manager of Nutrition and Operations Support Services Status: Full-time / Nonexempt

Eligible for Hybrid Work Schedule: No

Hourly Wage: $14/hr

Benefits: Dental and vision insurance, paid-time off and 13 paid holidays per year


Job Summary

The Site Coordinator will prepare and pack meals for home delivery and/or serve and clean up from meals at congregate sites as delivered from the main kitchen, following food safety regulations. Ensure all daily meals are correctly recorded and complete all reports and paperwork in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Deliver meals to client homes when necessary.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the work area is clean and sanitized according to standards established by policies and procedures and all local, state, and federal health and sanitation regulations.
  • Participate in all aspects of ensuring appropriate meal preparation for individual and/or congregate clients.
  • Ensure the meals are packed properly, so they travel well and remain at an acceptable temperature.
  • Ensure all daily meals are recorded correctly and complete all reports and paperwork in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Ensure all congregate clients verify receipt of meals using a standard process.
  • Provide direction to volunteers if appropriate.
  • Assist with outreach initiatives to increase the number of clients served.
  • Deliver meals, when necessary, in company or personal vehicle.
  • Assumes additional duties as requested.
Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 Years of administrative or food service experience preferred.
  • ServSafe Certification or ability to achieve within first year of employment.
