Job Summary:

The Precast Tank Delivery Driver is responsible for loading, transporting and unloading septic tanks for customers. In addition to driving the tank to its final destination, the precast tank delivery driver will play a part in setting, pouring and striping the tank at the concrete plant before delivery. A successful Precast Tank Delivery Driver has a strong customer service orientation, the ability to work closely with all levels of employees and customers. They must have a strong sense of responsibility toward quality and on-time delivery, strong work ethic, and the ability to operate equipment.

Position Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive and operate all functions of the Delivery Truck.
  • Using a fixed hoisting mechanism, safely place tank in the ground according to customer specifications.
  • Assist at the concrete plant to set, pour and strip the tank.
  • Maintain customer delivery schedule and strive for on-time deliveries
  • Keep truck clean and well maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Monitor quality per the customer’s specifications
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety

Requirements

  • Have an excellent driving record and history
  • Comply with work references and criminal background check
  • Comply with I9 and E-Verify requirements
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job including: lifting 75lbs, bending, squatting, kneeling.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform work tasks production/quality level set by the Company
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
