Accounting Tech

ATA Services Inc. is seeking a part-time Accounting Technician to work a short-term, 9-month assignment in Denver, CO. Pay will range between $24-28 an hour. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists with managing Accounts Payable shared GMAIL inbox
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Fill out form-submit to other departments- follow up & keep accurate records
• Process invoices
• Determine the correct coding for each payment/ deposit
• Reconciles transactions, reports, and other cash and credit accounts
• Use MS Excel to update tracking sheets
  • Requires data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Use PDF to add review notes to files
• Backup Treasury Cashier position as needed (accounting tech I/tech II)
• Receive and approve cash receipt documents
• PDF scanning to network drive folders
• Process returned checks in the banking and accounting system
• Backup Safekeeping program
