Building and Material Transporter - Now Hiring

Reports to: Fleet Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Transport and retrieve portable storage buildings and materials. Over the road, to and from sales lots, manufacturing plants, and customer locations.

· Manage and execute standard operations of a (CMV, MULE/FORKLIFT).

· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.

· Maintain open communication with fleet manager.

· Document and log (trips/pick-ups/etc.).

· Retain credit card receipts and submit weekly expense reports.

· Contact customers to confirm all details of the order.

· Ensure 5-star customer service.

· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

· CDL License Required.

· Shed hauling/oversize experience preferred, but not required.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (for insurance purposes).
• Flatbed experience is a plus.
• Must have a current DOT Medical Card.
• Must have a clean background and driving record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Overnight travel a requirement.
• Must have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good work ethic.
• Must be a team player and goal oriented.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift to 75 lbs.

· Frequent squatting, kneeling and use of knees.

· Driving for multiple hours in a day.

· Constant exposure to weather and outside elements.

· Must be able to stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl as needed.

Compensation details: 18-18 Hourly Wage
