Summary of Accountant Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to:
- Assist with accounts payable prep for 15-20 million dollars in annual payables.
- Collaborate with the team and be a self-starter
- Upload or import transactions into Quickbooks
- Purchasing Card expense management and journal entries
- Invoice processing
- Assist with weekly AP payment processing
- Assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting processes
- Possess good logic skills with attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy
- Ad-hoc projects & reports as requested by managers.
Technical Requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
- Working knowledge of various file types (.pdf, .doc, .csv) and their corresponding applications
- Basic skills in QuickBooks Desktop
- Basic accounting principles
- Document management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of AIA billing standards (not required, but definitely a plus)
- Knowledge of lien processes (not required, but definitely a plus)
- Knowledge of business insurance products (not required, but definitely a plus)

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance OR equivalent experience (+3 years)

Hiring Process

Compensation details: 19-23 Hourly Wage
