Our Personal Bankers provide a full range of banking services to individual customers, with emphasis on personal financial counseling, lending, and customer service. They are responsible for working as an active member of the branch office sales/service team and providing support related to the day-to-day branch operational activities and financial services of the Bank.

Essential Duties:

• Maintains understanding of all Bank products and services.
• Performs transactional activities such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, payments, money orders, cashier's checks, and cash advances.
• Balances cash drawer, night deposits and ATM machines.
• Meets with customers to discuss personal financial needs and recommends ways in which the company can serve their needs.
• Assists customers with product selections for accounts and financial services throughout the Bank including Wealth Management, Cash Management Services, and Merchant Services.

Requirements:

Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or General Banking Diploma preferred. Training in customer service, telephone etiquette, and sales needed.

Skill(s): Must demonstrate strong communication skills; excellent interpersonal relations skills; proficient PC skills; a comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in opening new accounts; a proficient knowledge of the banking systems, transaction documents, knowledge of vault transactions and balancing; a working knowledge of bank consumer and business products and services; proficient Microsoft Office skills; possess problem solving skills.

Experience: A minimum of (1-2) years' experience in a related position normally required.
