Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We are actively seeking a Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. Please see details below:
Location: Skiatook, OK
PAY: $35/hr+ (negotiable/ depending on experience)
Details:
- Contract Position | Full Time
- 37.5 hours a week
- Start/ End Date: ASAP- 5/24/2024
- Caseload Details:
- Caseload of 8 students; grades 2-5
- Several of these students take the alternate assessment (DLM)
- On site Only
- Zoom Interview
Duties:
- Assess students skills and determine their educational needs.
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
- Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups and one-on-one.
- Discuss students progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in education or Masters/Doctoral Degree in Special Education
- Active Oklahoma Special Education Teaching license
