Job Description
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
If you are a Special Education Teacher who enjoys the pediatric setting, we have the ideal position for you! There is a school district with a full-time opening that deals with a K-8th grade caseload. Email, text, or call me if you want to speak with me further about this opportunity!

Job Details:
  • Onsite near the Flushing, Michigan area
  • Start ASAP
  • # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services' director during interview

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
  • Valid state(MI)teaching certification/license in Special Education.
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
