Supports the Research and Educational Grants team with Engagement with cancer care providers, patients and researchers.

The Collaboration Coordinator has broad responsibility for maintaining and improving the effective and efficient day-to-day operations of the Collaboration Office.

Responsibilities:

Oversee Varian Collaboration Office operations as directed by the Collaboration Officer, including (but not limited to):

  • Coordinate all Collaboration Office functions.
  • Track and forecast Varian research collaboration spending.
  • Perform quality control reviews of collaboration project documentation folios.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and track success metrics for Varian collaborations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Varian collaboration processes.
  • Develop and deploy guidance for adjunct (business line) collaboration managers.
  • Participate in Siemens-Healthineers collaboration process improvements.
  • Act as a proxy for the Collaboration Officer as needed.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships important for the success of the Collaboration Office as directed by the Collaboration Officer, including (but not limited to):
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Siemens Healthineers Global Collaboration Office.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Finance, Legal, and Compliance departments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for adjunct collaboration managers and other business line stakeholders (esp. R&D strategy).
  • Track collaboration activities outside of the Collaboration Office's responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Must work well in collaborative, cross-functional scenarios.
  • Must be able to manage multiple simultaneous projects to successful completion.
  • Conduct all activities and interactions with the highest ethical and professional standards, ensuring all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with Varian's values, Siemens Healthineers governing directives, legal and regulatory requirements, codes of conduct, and standard operating procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate degree or professional certification in a relevant field or five years of working experience in medical devices or medical research.
  • Previous program/project management experience is essential.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Considerable workplace software experience (for example, with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Acrobat, etc.) is essential.
  • Prior experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is highly desired.
  • Experience working in a complex organization is highly desired.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $95,200 - Max $171,500

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
