This position defines and executes the enterprise risk management framework across the organization. Leads activity to balance risk and reward within the enterprise risk appetite. Provides business risk advice, information and results to functions across the organization to provide reasonable assurance regarding the achievement of strategic objectives.

Position Compensation Range:

$60,000.00 - $99,000.00

Primary Accountabilities

  • Executes an Enterprise-wide corporate insurance strategy based on identification, measurement, and management of organizational risk and insurance needs.

  • Actively monitors processes and tools consistent with enterprise view of risk and risk tolerance goals.

  • Assists with the oversight and coordination of loss control programs and policies throughout the organization.

  • Assists with the oversight and coordination of loss reporting for all corporate insurance policies.

  • Develops working relationships and provides risk-related support and education.

  • Responsible for monitoring processes and collaborating with the team with analytical requests.

  • Establishes and maintains enterprise-wide reporting.

  • Balances risk and reward within the enterprise risk appetite.


Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of risk management techniques.

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of commercial insurance and industry trends, a background in corporate insurance is a plus.

  • Moderate to strong knowledge of claim handling, especially workers' compensation claims.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of financial analysis of insurance and non-insurance risk transfer proposals.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Chicago, IL 60601*; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034; Nashville, TN 37214.
