Patient Services Coordinator - Part-time

Introduction:

TEKsystems is currently hiring for a Medical Office Assistant. This is an onsite position located in Columbia, MD to assist patients in a positive and smooth visit. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a corporate company. This role offers great work life balance, as well as offers lots of room to grow within.

Shift: Monday - Fri 8AM - 5PM

Description:

• This candidate will be responsible for answering phones and scheduling appointments, and other duties as directed by the providers.
• Using EPIC EMR to update patient medical histories and demographics.
• Verifying insurances and helping patients with check in and check out.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have great customer service skills
• Preference will be shown to candidates with recent EPIC experience
• Medical outpatient experience preferred but not required (2-5 years)
• Must have some medical background/experience and EMR experience
• Must have computer proficiency
