Geotechnical Section Lead - Now Hiring

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise or monitor all projects in progress in the section to ensure that work is executed
on time and in accordance with the client's requirements and within company policies,
procedures and standards.
• Supervise the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
• Responsible for daily operations of section. This includes recruiting, hiring, training and
development of staff; review of staff performance; maintenance of equipment; project
quality and timeliness
• With support from the Division Manager perform business and client development activities.
• With support from the Division Manager establish yearly section budgets
• With support from the Division Manager oversee and manage the success of the section.
This will include understanding the business metrics of revenue growth, effectiveness of
staff, project billing and accounts receivable, and project profitability.
• Understand and be aware of project-related risk.
• Lead safety efforts for team and ensure team follows safety rules and guidelines.
• Continue to improve quality and efficiencies on projects.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree Engineering or Geology and at least 5 years' practical experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
• Professional Engineering License
