Job Title: Connect Ambassador
Location: Kansas City (18th and Vine location)
Hours: 30 hours per week, onsite 5 days a week
Duration: 5 month contract with possible extension/conversion)
Work Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Greet customers, assess needs, answer questions, manage traffic flow, and assist with payments.
  • Community Engagement: Support community outreach efforts, assist in event preparation, handle outage situations, develop workshops/seminars, and gather feedback data.
  • Facility Operations: Assist with opening/closing procedures, ensure system shutdown, and contribute to maintaining facility security.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-starter with good judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with a professional demeanor.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing assignments, priorities, and work hours.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a customer service role, preferably face-to-face.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
