RN Bilingual - Full-time

Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Position Available at Universal Spine and Joint Lakeland location with training in Tampa. Pain management experience a plus. Graduates are welcome to apply! Excellent benefits and competitive pay! Must speak, read and write English and Spanish.

The RN will assist the physician with patient intake, patient and treatment preparation, patient care and monitoring during procedures, and ensuring patient well-being. The RN must be compassionate, communicative and thorough, and committed to the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing patients seeking relief from depression and chronic pain
• Comfortable administering IVs 
• Anticipates and fulfills doctor and patient needs, coordinates activities in room, maintains medical records, and communicates effectively with staff and others
• Assures that documentation is appropriate, accurate, and complete

Qualifications/Education:

• Active RN license in Florida or a Compact license
• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Bilingual-English and Spanish speaking
• BLS
• ACLS certification
• Prior work in an ER or ICU is a plus
• Compassion, organization, good communication skills, and ability to work well with others required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous EMR experience
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
