Evening Pet Care Professional

This position works well for:

Moms, servers, artists, drivers of any sorts, retail workers, dog trainers, college students, musicians, tutors, and fit retirees. 

Here is what we ask you to do:

You will also be responsible for walking, feeding, watering, cleaning litter boxes, and keeping dogs and other pets in the home safe and secure. 

Have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive to client's homes to care for their pets. 

Have the ability to communicate via smartphone using our company app. 

Walk and/or care for your regularly scheduled dog and/or cat friends on your route from 5pm until 10pm Monday through Friday.

:-) Did I mention this job requires you to play with puppies and kittens too? For many of our staff, they say it is the best job ever! 

Some basic job requirements:

• US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
• Over 18 years of age
• Able to pass a background check
• Local full-time resident of our service area 
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, fish, and any other pet a client may have
• Able to follow specific directions, exactly as given
• Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance
• Able to commit to this position for 6 months from date of hire
• Available all weekdays from 5pm to 10pm
• Possess your own reliable transportation
• Possess your own smartphone to communicate with clients and team members via our app

How Much Can I Make?

Our team of pet care professionals can make up to $1,500 a month while filling their dog, cat, puppy and kitten-cuddling needs each week! Paws at Home utilizes an hourly pay structure. Starting wage is $15/hr, with opportunities for raises at 1 month, 6 months, and yearly.

*Please note that this job is based mostly in Washington, however we do have clients in the surrounding towns as well. All applicants must be willing to drive to all areas of our service radius, including Metamora, Germantown Hills, Morton, East Peoria, and some parts of Peoria. You will never be asked to drive to all of these towns in one evening, but it is common to drive to two of the towns in one night.
