Randall Fire Services department is currently seeking top-tier Fire Sprinkler Inspectors / Technicians to work on commercial projects in the Orlando, FL area and throughout Central Florida. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.

Position Summary

A Fire Sprinkler Inspector / Service Technician will be responsible for providing service, testing, and installation of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment. You will be performing routine troubleshooting and repairs, minor changes and modifications, Backflow testing, and testing and inspecting of Fire Sprinkler systems.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure that all inspections are completed on a timely basis and that inspections are done accurately and thoroughly.
  • Testing of all building sprinkler control panels, devices, and functions of the sprinkler system and entering the test results into the Palm handheld device.
  • Upon completion of an inspection download the information and generate a completed Sprinkler Inspection Report.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Desired Qualification Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • NICET Level II Certified.
  • FASA/BASA Backflow Testing Certified.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass drug screen and reference check.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety procedures at all times.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

Physical Requirements

You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying tools/items, work in extreme weather, and properly wear personal protective gear.
