Meal Packing Party Driver

Job Summary:

The Meal Packing Party driver is responsible for driving to pickup and and deliver food and supplies to meal packing events. This is a PRN position to assist with meal packing events as needed. Most events will be on the weekends and most pickups will be on Friday and/or other weekdays. The schedule of events is known approximately six weeks in advance. The driver is expected to assist as needed.

Essential Duties and Functions:

• Ability to drive, load, and unload a sprinter van and trailer
• Ability to drive, load, and unload a 26 foot truck with a liftgate
• Requires ability to climb the rear ladder and operate the lift gate
• Ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Familiar with email and computers
• Availability to travel overnights and/or day trips up to 4 nights away with frequent weekends as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills and willing to help and engage volunteers at events
• Assists in coordinating pickups and deliveries.
• Loads and unloads deliveries as well as pickups.
• Assist with cleaning meal packing supplies.
• Assist with and/or lead meal packing events
• Perform other duties as assigned.
