Job Summary:
Senior Helpers - Fairfax is seeking a dedicated and compassionate MALE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in MCLEAN, Virginia. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare industry, specifically in the franchise sector. The chosen candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our senior clients, helping them maintain independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Compensation & Benefits:
competitive hourly wage of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with basic daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications and perform other healthcare-related tasks as directed by the client's care plan
- Monitor and record client's vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their overall well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for the client
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and activities
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Attend in-service training and educational opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or home care setting
- Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
